Veg Manchurian dry recipe

Veg Manchurian is made up of combinations of single or two veggies together. I made this recipe with only one veggie ie cabbage. It is Indo Chinese recipe. If you are bored of eating a regular meal you can try this one recipe, it’s spicy and crunchy. you can eat as a starter before dinner/lunch.

Ingredients

For making dough
  • Gobi(cabbage)2 cups chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tsp Cornflour or 1tsp  rice flour +2 tsp maida flour
For Manchurian sauce
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 medium chopped onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree or 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 tsp soya sauce
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp green chilli sauce
  • 1/2tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped green coriander
  • Chopped spring onion/leave
  • Chopped green capsicum
  • Tomato sauce 
  • Hot chilli sauce(optional)
For fry
  • Gobi(cabbage) mixture balls
  • Bread crumbs
  • Oil
Method
  1.  Clean the Gobi and chop it very fine.
  2. Mix chopped gobi with the above ingredients.
  3. Make small round balls using the mixture of the cabbage. 
  4. Heat oil in the pan, deep the balls of gobi in bread crumbs and
  5. Deep fry gobi ball till it becomes golden brown. remove it on tissue paper.
  6. For the sauce, heat a pan add 2 tsp oil, add all the above sauce ingredients such as 2 medium chopped onion,4 chopped garlic cloves,2 cinnamon sticks,1/2 cup tomato puree or 1 chopped tomato, Chopped green capsicum,1 tsp soya sauce,1 tsp red chilli powder,1 tsp green chilli sauce,1/2tsp sugar, Salt to taste, Chopped green coriander, Chopped spring onion/leave, Tomato sauce, Hot chilli sauce(optional), fry until raw smell goes off
  7. At last add fry, gobi ball mixed slowly on medium flame.
  8. Serve hot.
