Veg Manchurian is made up of combinations of single or two veggies together. I made this recipe with only one veggie ie cabbage. It is Indo Chinese recipe. If you are bored of eating a regular meal you can try this one recipe, it’s spicy and crunchy. you can eat as a starter before dinner/lunch.

Ingredients
For making dough
- Gobi(cabbage)2 cups chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 2 tsp Cornflour or 1tsp rice flour +2 tsp maida flour
For Manchurian sauce
- 2 tsp oil
- 2 medium chopped onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 cup tomato puree or 1 chopped tomato
- 1 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp green chilli sauce
- 1/2tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- Chopped green coriander
- Chopped spring onion/leave
- Chopped green capsicum
- Tomato sauce
- Hot chilli sauce(optional)
For fry
- Gobi(cabbage) mixture balls
- Bread crumbs
- Oil
Method
- Clean the Gobi and chop it very fine.
- Mix chopped gobi with the above ingredients.
- Make small round balls using the mixture of the cabbage.
- Heat oil in the pan, deep the balls of gobi in bread crumbs and
- Deep fry gobi ball till it becomes golden brown. remove it on tissue paper.
- For the sauce, heat a pan add 2 tsp oil, add all the above sauce ingredients such as 2 medium chopped onion,4 chopped garlic cloves,2 cinnamon sticks,1/2 cup tomato puree or 1 chopped tomato, Chopped green capsicum,1 tsp soya sauce,1 tsp red chilli powder,1 tsp green chilli sauce,1/2tsp sugar, Salt to taste, Chopped green coriander, Chopped spring onion/leave, Tomato sauce, Hot chilli sauce(optional), fry until raw smell goes off
- At last add fry, gobi ball mixed slowly on medium flame.
- Serve hot.
