Potato pancake(cheela)

Potato Cheela (pancake) is easy to prepare and delicious too. Potatoes are a good source of vitamins, fibers, and minerals. one must eat potatoes in meals and also essential for children's growth, this recipe is a healthy snack for children as well as adults.

Ingredients
  1. 3 potatoes grated
  2. 2 tsp cornflour 
  3. 2 tsp gram flour(Besan)
  4. 1/2 tsp pepper 
  5. Chopped green chilly 
  6. Spring onion chopped 
  7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
  9. salt to taste
  10. 2 green chilly finely chopped 
  11. 1tsp ghee/oil
Method
  1. Peel potatoes and grate them, put them in water, soak for 5 minutes. drain the potatoes remove excess water from it
  2. In a bowl add grated potatoes,2 tsp cornflour,2 tsp besan, 1/2 tsp pepper,1/2 tsp cumin seeds, spring onion, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, chopped green chilly.
  3. Add water to the mixture and salt mix it well.
  4. Make thick batter
  5. Heat a pan apply oil on it spread potato mixture batter round in shape.
  6. Roast the pancake and flip on another side. Cook both the side into golden crispy.
  7. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
