Ingredients
For marination
- Boneless Chicken pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- Curd
- 2 tsp tandoori masala
- 2 tsp Cornflour.
For gravy
- 1tsp oil
- 2 medium chopped onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick/powder
- 1/2 cup tomato puree or 1 chopped tomato
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Pinch of cardamom powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp butter
- Salt to taste
- Chopped green coriander
- 2 to 3 tsp milk or milk cream
- Kasuri methi
- 4 to 5 Cashew nuts
- Salt to taste
Method
Marinate chicken pieces with all above ingredients.and keep aside for half an hour.
- Soak cashew in hot water and keep aside.
- Melt butter in a pan on low flame, add cinnamon stick, garlic, cardamom, onion, fry till onion becomes golden brown.
- Add tomato and cashew, fry on low flame till tomato becomes mushy.
- Blend fried onion and tomato, cashew, cardamom into a fine paste.
- Heat a pan add oil. Fry marinated chicken pieces till golden brown on both sides or grill the chicken pieces.
- After chicken fried or grilled,
- Heat Kadai Add the ground paste in it, boil on low flame, add 1 tsp chilly,1/2 tsp turmeric powder and Garam masala.
- When it shimmer, add cream or milk in it.
- Cook on low flame till the gravy becomes thick.
- Add salt and sugar is optional as per taste.
- Add fry chicken or grilled chicken pieces in it.cook for 5 min on low flame
- Add chopped coriander and Kasuri methi.
- Serve hot with bread or paratha.
