Veg Manchurian is Indo Chinese dish, consist of ve balls dipped in spicy and tangy gravy sauce, Manchurian can be made dry or with gravy, both recipes taste amazing and delicious. Can be eaten as a side dish or with rice.

Ingredients
Manchurian ball
- Veggies like chopped cabbage
- chopped capsicum
- chopped carrot
- chopped spring onion
- 2 tsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp cornflour
- salt to taste
- oil for fry
Manchurian gravy
- 1 tsp oil
- finely chopped onion
- finely chopped ginger
- finely chopped garlic
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tsp soya sauce
- 2 tsp red chilli sauce
- 2 tsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp apple vinegar or white vinegar
- 2 cups of water
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
Method
- Take a bowl to add all chopped veggies then add dry ingredients like corn starch flour and all-purpose flour, black pepper and salt
- Mix and knead so that veggie leaves the water.
- Take a small portion of the mixture in your hand
- Press and roll on your palm and make a round ball
- Make balls of the remaining mixture
- Heat a oil in a frying pan add veggies ball fry till golden brown.
- Remove from pan and keep on tissue paper
- In a ball add all three sauces and mix well and keep aside
- In another ball take 1 tsp cornflour and 2 tsp water, mix well and keep aside
- Heat a pan add 1 tsp oil add chopped onion, chopped garlic and ginger, green chillies
- Fry till onion becomes translucent
- Now add mixed sauces and mix well in it
- Add 2 cups of water, when it boils mix the cornflour mixture.
- Cook on low flame , let gravy becomes thick,
- Add salt as per taste and sugar in it.
- When the gravy becomes thick add fried veggie ball in it
- Remove from gas don't overcook otherwise veggies ball will get melt in it
- Serve hot with chappati or bread.
