Paneer butter masala recipe

Paneer butter masala is an Indian dish of marinated panner deep in mild spicy and sweet creamy gravy. Butter and paneer are the main ingredients. It is delicious and super tasty. Most kids love this recipe try it out you will love and your kids too.

Ingredients
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 ripe tomato chopped
  • 5-6 cashew nuts
  • 2-3 tsp butter
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 6-8 cube panner
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  •  2-3 tsp cream or milk
  • salt
  • 1-inch cinnamon
  • Tomato ketchup (if tomatoes are not fully ripe)
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Method
  1. Soak cashew in hot water and keep aside.
  2. Melt butter in a pan on low flame, add onion, fry till onion becomes golden brown.
  3. Add tomato and fry on low flame till tomato becomes mushy.
  4. Blend fried onion and tomato, cashew, cardamom into a fine paste.
  5. Heat a pan melt butter add cinnamon, bay leaf, and ginger garlic paste, saute them till raw smell goes off. 
  6. Add the ground paste in the pan boil on low flame, add 1 tsp chilly powder and Garam masala.
  7. When it shimmer, add paneer, add cream or milk in it.
  8. Cook on low flame till the gravy becomes thick.
  9. Add salt and sugar is optional as per taste.
  10. Add tomato ketchup as per taste
  11. Serve hot with chapati.
