Different types chutney

Chutney is simple easy and fast to cook.can be eaten with chapati and if it is made little thin then eaten with rice. various types of chutney are 
  • Coconut chutney
  • Coriander coconut chutney
  • Garlic coconut chutney
  • Bitter gourd chutney
Key ingredients of all the chutneys are coconut.so let's start one by one

Bitter gourd chutney

Made up of bitter gourd and coconut, green chillies and jaggery, sweet, tangy, bitter, taste.

Ingredients
  • 1 bitter gourd(karela)
  • Grated coconut
  • Jaggery
  • Small ball tamarind
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp oil.
Method
  1. Wash and cut karela into small pieces. Remove seeds from inside. Apply salt and keep aside
  2. Grind grated coconut, tamarind, jaggery and green chillies.
  3. Heat small pan add mustard seeds let it splutter put off the gas
  4. Add this mustard into a paste and grind again.
  5. Head pan put 1 tsp oil add karela and fry till golden put off gas add paste mix well.add salt to taste.
  6. Serve with chapati or roti.


Coriander chutney

Made up of coriander leaves, coconut, jaggery, green chillies.Its spicy and sweet taste

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch coriander leaves
  • Grated coconut
  • Jaggery
  • Small ball tamarind
  • 2 green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp oil.
Method
  1. Wash and cut coriander into small pieces. 
  2. Grind grated coconut, tamarind, jaggery and green chillies, coriander leaves
  3. Make paste add salt to taste
  4. Serve with chapati or roti.
Garlic coconut chutney

Made up of garlic cloves and coconut. Its spicy snd garlic taste.

Ingredients
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1inch ginger
  • Grated coconut
  • Jaggery
  • Small ball tamarind
  • 2 green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp oil.
Method

  1. Peel of garlic gloves
  2. Grind grated coconut, garlic, ginger, tamarind and green chillies, jaggery
  3. Make paste add salt to taste
  4. Serve with chapati or roti.
