During bachelor days it was difficult to prepare food and eat because of work and no energy left . so ultimate solution is to cook fast and easy method which has taste and tummy filling.So here are 5 dishes which can be cooked when their is low enery and less time.

Ingredients
- Basmati rice 1cup/simple rice
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- green peas fresh or frozen
- carrot pieces
- cauliflower(optional)
- 1 bay leafe
- 2 cloves
- cardomom 2 cloves
- 1tsp turmeric powder
- 1tsp chilli powder
- 1tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp ghee
- 1 and half cup water
- 1tsp cumin seeds
- 1 piece cinnamon
Method
- Wash rice and keep aside till all the veggies get cut.
- put pressure cooker on gas add 2 tsp ghee add cumin seeds and cinnamon,let it sputter, add cloves ,cardomom, onion fry till golden brown then add all the veggies fry for 5 min.
- Add turmeric powder,chilli powder,coriander powder,stir it, add rice and water.salt as per taste
- Put cooker lid on it. cook on medium flame for 3 whistle.
- Put off the gas.serve afetr cooker gets cool.
2.GEERA ALOO
Its easy and fastest cooking receipe seerve with roti or bread'

Ingredients
- 2 potatoes
- 1tsp cumin seeds
- 1tsp chilli powder
- 1tsp coriander powder
- 1tsp turmeric powder
- 1tsp mustard seeds
- curry leaces
- salt to taste
- 1green chilli finely chopped
Method
- Boil potato make pieces.keep aside.
- Put kadai on gas heat it,add 1 tsp oil add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,curry leaves let it sputter. add all the masalas.cook till oil seperates,add salt.
- Add cooked potato stir slowly.cook for 5 min with lid cover.
3.KANDA POHA
It is a simple and healthy meal receipe,which can be made in minutes and can be served for any occasion.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup poha
- 1tsp mustard seeds
- 1tsp cumin seeds
- pinch asafoetida
- curry leaves
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1/2 turmeric powder
- 2tsb peanuts
- jaggery
- 2 chilli finely chopped
Method
- soak poha.firstly add salt and gaggery in it mixed well keep aside
- put kadai on gas heat 1tsp oil add mustard seeds,cumin seeds and curry leaves,pinch of asafoetida, let it sputter.
- Add onion fry till golden brown add finely chopped chilli,turmeric powder,peanuts fry for another 5 min
- Add soaked poha and mix gently until everything is combined well.
4.EGG BURGI
Egg burgi is non veg receipe it is scrambled egg with mixture of onion,tomatoes and spices.

Ingredients
- 3 Eggs
- 1 onion
- 1 tomatoes
- coriander leaves
- 1tsp mustard seeds
- 1tsp chilli powder
- 1tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1tsp cumin seeds
- 2 green chillies
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp oil
Method
- Put pan on gas, heat it, add 1 tsp of oil add mustard seed, cumin seeds and onion fry till golden brown.
- Add tomatoes,turmeric powder,chilli powder,coriander powder,green chillies.fry till oil seperates from gravy
- Break egg in it one by one. mix it well. cook for 10 min.
- Add coriander leaves.Serve hot with roti or bread.
5.DAL KHICHDI
Khichdi is dish in south asian cusine made up of rice and lentils.which is commonly eaten all over country.serve with achar

Ingredients
- 2 tsp ghee or butter
- 1 small onion
- 1 bay leaf
- ginger paste
- 1 green chilli
- 1 small tomato
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 1 cup moog dal
- 1 cup rice
- 1pinch asafoetida
Method
- wash dal and rice and keep aside
- heat ghee in pressure cooker saute cumin seeds, bay leaf and ginger paste
- Add onion and chilli fry until raw smell goes add tomato saute for 2 to 3 min,add dal and rice in it
- pour 2 cups of water stir well and taste the water.
- pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- if porredge consistance required add more cup of water and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistle
- serve with papad or pickle.
